Resolve2Solve is the Birmingham Bar Foundation’s signature conflict-resolution program, designed to help middle school students build the skills they need to navigate challenges both in and out of the classroom. Led by volunteer attorneys, the program introduces practical tools for communication, problem-solving, and decision-making—empowering students to handle conflict in thoughtful, constructive ways.
Teachers consistently report that students who participate in Resolve2Solve demonstrate improved behavior, stronger peer relationships, and greater confidence in managing everyday situations. By connecting students with legal professionals, the program also fosters a deeper understanding of the justice system and the role it plays in their lives.
Thanks to a generous grant from the Alabama Law Foundation, the Birmingham Bar Foundation is currently seeking proposals to rewrite and enhance the Resolve2Solve curriculum. This exciting update will ensure the program remains relevant, engaging, and impactful for today’s students.
We are now accepting Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from qualified individuals and organizations interested in developing a refreshed, high-quality curriculum that will shape the next generation of student leaders.
