Birmingham Bar Foundation Fellows Endowment Program
The BBF has established a program to honor fellow attorneys and judges who met certain criteria. Select Birmingham attorneys and judges who have been members of the BBA for a minimum of five years, demonstrated a spirit of excellence in their field of practice, and have been uncompromising in their adherence to ethical standards and morals, their application of exceptional skills to achieve optimal results for those whom they have served, their dedication to decency and civility to other members of the bar, and their commitment to enhance and enrich the general prestige of the legal profession to the public are recognized by being inducted as Fellows and Life Fellows of the BBF.
Each year, the Fellows nominate worthy BBA members to become a Fellow. After consideration by the BBF Board of Directors, invitations are extended to these select individuals. At the celebratory Fellows Dinner, the new Class of Fellows and those Fellows who have decided to become Life Fellows are honored.
The financial contributions from the Fellows and Life Fellows form the basis for the Fellows endowment. The BBF uses this endowment to support legally related charitable purposes through funding organizations and programs that align with the BBF’s mission.
