The Birmingham Bar Foundation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our team from May through August. This paid, part-time position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, and the legal community while working closely with Foundation leadership.
The intern will play an active role in planning and supporting key events, assisting with grant research and communications, managing donor and constituent data, and contributing to social media and outreach efforts. This is a well-rounded position that provides meaningful exposure to the day-to-day operations of a dynamic nonprofit organization.
We are looking for a student or recent graduate with strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and an interest in nonprofit work, fundraising, or the legal field. A professional demeanor and willingness to engage with community leaders are essential.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build practical experience, expand their network, and make a tangible impact in the community.
Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, resume, and three references to mandy.peterson@bbfound.org.
